Leeanda
Leeanda is a new model working in and around London. She is
5'5" tall and weighs 100 pounds. I don't have her
measurements, but the pictures should give you a good idea of her
appearance. She has a great personality and is a lot of fun to
photograph. If you're interested in working with her, please send me some mail with a
brief description of what you'd like to do, and I'll put you in
touch.
Click on the thumbnails to see the enlargements. They're less
than 100K each.

This picture was shot with my Bronica SQ-Ai with an 80mm lens, on
Ilford Delta 3200. The crop is full-frame in the vertical
direction. I would have liked to have left her foot in the frame,
but if I moved back any more, I'd have gotten a railing in the
picture. I was leaning (forward) against the railing as I took
this. This picture and the next were taken on the roof of the
restaurant that is beneath my flat. The window in the picture is
my kitchen window.

This picture was also taken with my Bronica SQ-Ai on Ilford Delta
3200, but it's not a full-frame crop, so it should not be used to
judge the grain of Delta 3200. In the original picture, Leeanda's
arms are horizontal, but the image looked static, so I cropped it
on an angle, which I think makes for a much better picture.

This picture is also a Delta 3200 picture, but it was taken on a
35mm Canon EOS 1N. The grain of Delta 3200 in 35mm format is
obvious even in the scan. (Check out my
comparison of Delta 3200 in 35mm and 120.) The picture was
taken on the platform at Euston Station.

This is a studio shot of Leeanda. I used the Bronica SQ-Ai with
XP2 Super. This was my first experience with XP2, and I am very
impressed with it! My advice to anyone who uses this film is to
just pretend that it's a normal black and white film. Don't get
color proof prints since they will look awful; mine were dark and
had a blue cast. Get a normal black and white contact sheet
instead.

I like profiles. This one's not perfect, as Leeanda is leaning
back a bit too far, but she does have a nice profile. She liked
it enough to use it on her comp card, saying that she thought
that it was different enough to attract attention. Another XP2
Super studio photo.
More to come.
